Guy Fremaux

Founder | Life Coach

I came to coaching through my work as an audiologist and a quest to try and achieve better outcomes with young people who wear hearing aids. Eventually I stumbled upon a short course on applying health coaching to patients. This led to further study with a Graduate Certificate in Professional Coaching (SIT) (Level 7) and then to a Coaching for Transformation Certification (100 hours of International Coaching Federation accredited coaching education with the New Zealand Institute of Coaching). I have been doing pro bono coaching and late in 2024 I joined the International Coaching Federation as a member, with the aim of getting enough paid coaching hours to become an Accredited Certified Coach in the future. ‘Guy Life Coaching’ plays both on my name and that I’m interested in working with men due to the troubling statistics around men’s health and education.

I like how coaching acknowledges that you are the expert on you, not the coach. The coach provides the environment so you can determine what you want and how to get there. Successfully doing that is why I enjoy coaching.
